You can lessen the amount of visible light entering a window by making the window darker. It’s just like a pair of sunglasses. Although many of 3M’s window films are clear and colorless, others are meant to darken a window to mitigate glare.The darker the film, the more glare that will be reduced. (You cannot reduce glare with a clear film.)
